This role is based at our Hyderabad Tech Center and follows a hybrid working model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). Candidates are expected to reside within commuting distance of the Hyderabad office.
Role Overview
As a Developer, you will be responsible for helping design and build solutions supporting IT risk and compliance workflows leveraging our ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers and delivery leads, to translate functional and non-functional needs into high-quality solutions, working both independently as well as a part of a global team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development, with a particular focus on the Integrated Risk Management (IRM/GRC) module.
What will you do in this role
- Support design, configuration, and development of ServiceNow applications, modules, flows, and interfaces to support our organization's IT risk and compliance processes
- Collaborate with our team and business stakeholders to fully understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications and functional requirements for ServiceNow solutions
- Ensure quality through automated and manual testing, code reviews, and participation in design and requirements discussions
- Contribute to Product planning, execution, and delivery within a global, matrix organization
- Work with users and operations team to help troubleshoot and resolve defects
- Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, tools, and best practices
- Help maintain technical and user documentation
What should you have
- Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
Primary skills (must-have)
- Proficiency in configuring UI policies and actions, client scripts, business rules, script includes and other ServiceNow components
- Technical expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON & REST APIs
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- Excellent problem-solving and business analysis skills
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Scrum and Agile development processes
Secondary skills (nice to have)
- Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM/GRC) module
- Pharma background or experience in other highly regulated industry
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
- Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes
- Using Jira to manage development activities
