Role overview:

Global LIMS (Business System Owner) Business Unit Specialist

Join us and be part of our dedicated team that provides support for our Laboratories to improve efficiency, reporting and compliance while improving LIMS Platform stability and useability. This opportunity will also involve working on our Laboratory Transformation program which is a multi-year, phased approach to streamline and standardize our QC labs to prepare each site to a level playing field of maturity for full digitalization.

The Business System Owner/Business Unit Specialist for the Global LIMS platform will collaborate with site SMEs, and several global groups and functions, to ensure the system is implemented and sustained in compliance.
They will work under the guidance of the Business System owner but will be expected to work independently for delivery of specific tasks by agreed dates to ensure the needs of the business are met. This role is expected to be user-facing, gathering user stories and requirements, as well as driving change and adoption of new global processes at sites.
As well as the general sustainment of the system, the role will be expected to assist in the transformation of the system into a fully integrated platform, with global ownership and management of Global LIMS master data as part of the end to end digital laboratory solution.

Responsibilities:

•Represent the Business in Global LIMS activities to ensure business needs are met.

•Maintain the Global LIMS Platform in a state of compliance, including support of all audits and inspections (internal and external).

•Oversee and provide Business Unit Approval for all SDLC, including procedures, change controls, requirements, testing risk assessments, training and deviations.

•Provide operational support for the Business, Stakeholders, the Global LIMS team and other support teams through active engagement and communication.

•Support sites with system-related investigations; and support and/or lead global investigations

Qualifications

•BSc Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years making a difference in a Pharmaceutical, Scientific, Technology, Engineering, and/or Mathematics field.

•Good understanding of Business Processes for Laboratory Testing, GxP principles, data integrity, and document control practices.

•Strong collaboration and change management skills, experience of working with and aligning with multiple stakeholders such as Global Quality, Manufacturing Sites, Research Laboratories, Learning and Development, etc.

•Strong communication and documentation skills, ability to gather information from SMEs, incorporate feedback, review procedures, review technical documentation (e.g. Test Protocols).

•Good understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities and Computer System Assurance (CSA)

•Strong analytic, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

•Attention to detail

•Self motivated

•Experience in Pharma Industry preferred with knowledge of cGMP and/or cGLP.
