Job Description
Our HR Reporting & Insights team is looking for an experienced Workday Reporting Specialist to support global HR reporting and analytics.
This role offers the opportunity to work with complex HR data, deliver meaningful insights to stakeholders, and contribute to decisions that impact employees worldwide. You will collaborate with international teams while maintaining ownership of your work in a flexible and supportive environment.
What You'll Do
- Consult with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and business needs and identify the most effective and compliant reporting solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain Workday reports (both scheduled and ad hoc) using Report Writer.
- Develop complex calculated fields to meet evolving business requirements.
- Combine, transform, and aggregate data from multiple HR data sources to fulfill report requests.
- Manage workload independently while collaborating closely with a global team to find solutions and share knowledge.
- Support improvements in HR data quality and reporting processes in partnership with HR Operations.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with Workday Report Writer and calculated fields, preferably supporting a large Workday HCM tenant.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative and creativity.
- High attention to detail and ability to identify data inconsistencies.
- Clear and professional communication skills in an international environment.
- Ability to seek direction when needed, work independently, and prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of data privacy principles and responsible handling of sensitive data.
Nice to Have
- Experience with HR data and processes.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Visier.
- Experience with relational data joining and transformation using tools like Alteryx or Dataiku.
- Coding experience with SQL.
- Advanced Workday reporting skills, including Composite reports, Worksheets and Prism.
