As a Java Developer you will design and build software applications and services. You will work in a multi-national team on various software products, in an agile environment. You will be a part of multi-disciplinary team and collaborate closely with DevOps and Product teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in backend development using Java (Spring / Spring Boot)
  • Strong expertise in core Java internals (reflection, threads, object lifecycle, connection/thread pools etc.)
  • Solid experience with MongoDB and / or other NoSQL databases, including data modeling for high scale applications
  • Hands-on experience designing and building scalable, cloud-native distributed systems in production environments
  • Proven experience working within the AWS ecosystem
  • Experience handling high-throughput, data intensive workloads with a focus on performance, reliability and scalability
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs and event driven systems
  • Experience developing systems that ingest and process large volume of real-time or near real-time data
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) for effective collaboration in a global team

Nice to Haves

  • B.Sc. (or M.Sc.) in Computer Science or Computer/SW Engineering
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
  • Experience working with IoT devices
  • Experience working with streaming and messaging systems
  • Experience with CI / CD methodology
