Policy & Access Intern

General mission of the internship function

The intern will support the Policy & Access Vaccines teams in mapping the Belgian stakeholders involved in pharmacy-based vaccination for pneumococcal disease. This project will also provide the opportunity to draw insights from the French experience, where a broader range of vaccines is already administered through pharmacies, and to translate relevant learnings to the Belgian context.

In parallel, the internship aims to provide Alice with a comprehensive understanding of the Belgian HPV vaccination landscape, including school-based programmes and catch-up vaccination strategies. Through these activities, the intern will further develop core competencies in vaccines policy and access landscape, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic thinking within a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the mapping of stakeholders involved in pharmacy-based pneumococcal vaccination in Belgium and contribute to the development of a strategic plan, leveraging insights and best practices from France
• Gain a solid understanding of the HPV vaccination landscape in Belgium, including school-based programmes and catch-up vaccination initiatives
• Collaborate across functions within a multicultural team and contribute pragmatic, solution-oriented ideas
