Job Description
The Intercompany Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting intercompany accounting and reconciliation activities across multiple legal entities within the organization. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of intercompany transactions, assists with resolving discrepancies, and supports month-end and year-end close activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to develop expertise in intercompany operations within a global finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end intercompany accounting processes
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Prepare, review, and reconcile intercompany balances on a monthly basis
- Investigate and resolve intercompany variances, discrepancies, and aging items
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and finance teams across entities to ensure transaction accuracy.
- Assist with documentation for audits and internal controls.
- Help improve intercompany processes through data analysis and process review.
- Prepare reports and summaries related to intercompany activity as needed.
- Ensure timely intercompany settlements and support cash/netting processes
- Support intercompany elimination entries and consolidation reporting
- Monitor compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and SOX requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve intercompany processes, automation, and controls
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, shared services, or intercompany operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
