BUD Vaccines & Pharma – Argentina, Uruguay & Paraguay
You hold a critical role in driving sustainable growth and maintaining the leading position of our Vaccines & Pharma portfolio developing the private market and leading the public market in Argentina. With your expertise and leadership, you are accountable for the entire Vaccines & Pharma P&L in the country, including all related activities. Collaborating closely with your team of sales and marketing colleagues, as well as experts from various fields such as Value and Patient Access, Medical Affairs, Policy, Communications, Digital, Data & Analytics, and others, you will lead cross-functional efforts towards achieving our mission. This mission is to ensure sustainable growth for our Vaccines & Pharma portfolio while partnering with the scientific community and other stakeholders to support physicians and patients.
You will be the driving force behind the commercial strategy, tactics, and infrastructure for new launches, operating plans, and crucial milestones. You'll leverage expertise and insights from regional and global stakeholders to ensure the success of our initiatives.
One of your critical tasks will be attracting, developing, and retaining top talent to consolidate the high-performing team in place and continuously adapt the organization to the environment.

The responsibilities of the Business Unit Director role, include, but are not limited to the following:
- Design cross functional business plans in support of key products that capture the key strategies and tactics from marketing, sales, commercial, access and policy standpoints
- Take ownership of the P&L in a competitive therapeutic area and deliver outstanding performance. Meet operational commitments, such as revenue growth and market share improvement.
- Use customer-driven approaches to develop imaginative and non-traditional opportunities in Vaccine & Pharma business. Adapt quickly to new situations and seek new opportunities.
- Drive change, evaluate alternatives, and encourage others to generate new ideas.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire marketing, sales, and support teams. Align the team with Vaccines & Pharma strategy and influence those not reporting directly to you. Attract, retain, and develop diverse talent.
- Build strong relationships with the global organization and integrate corporate knowledge into operations.
- Collaborate successfully with peers, cross-BU resources, regional and HQ colleagues.
- Focus on innovation and partnerships to enhance the customer and patient journey.
- Optimize the Go to Market model and ensure strong alliance management.
Skills/Knowledge - Required/Preferred
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferred).
- Proven leadership experience in managing a business unit, with expertise in both strategic and operational management. This includes effectively managing profits, resources and commercial teams.
- Extensive experience in commercial launches, including life cycle management.
- Confident in coaching people managers and strategic L3 exercises. This includes experience in Digital, Data & Analytics, omnichannel marketing, and customer journeys.
- Diversified experience in Marketing and Sales Management, People Management (manager of managers), Strategy, and Business Development.
- Executive experience in representing a brand, franchise, business unit, or country both internally and externally.
- Identifying customer-oriented initiatives beyond current responsibilities and continuously balancing the impact of these initiatives on the customer while considering commercial considerations. This includes customer relationship management.
Impact
The position will be a Senior Leader within the Our Company Team and sit on the Country HH Leadership Team. They will be primarily focused on Argentina; however, will work closely with Southern cone cluster counterparts and key functions in Regional and International teams.

Strategic Pricing decisions, reimbursement strategies, innovative product supply approaches, and proactive data analytic approaches, will all be in the domain of the role and therefore increase its complexity.
Influence/Liaison:
This role will also need to be innovative and creative in this area, for example new pricing and reimbursement strategies for evolving customers. Also utilizing data to help pave new approaches for the organization with our external customers. Having strong, flexible, collaborative leadership is fundamental to this core leadership role.
Relationships and Collaboration
This role requires sustaining effective relationships across internal and external stakeholders. It will be important to identify and advance collaborative approaches that address evolving customer needs and strengthen cross-functional alignment. Strong, adaptable, and collaborative leadership is critical to success in this core leadership role.
