Policy Specialist

As a Policy Specialist, you will operate at the intersection of policy, communications, stakeholder engagement, and social impact, contributing to our company's reputation and impact in the healthcare ecosystem through strategic communication, partnerships, and projects aligned with public health priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with NGOs, patient organizations, professional associations, and other external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to stakeholder outreach initiatives and engagement strategies.
  • Support partnerships, collaborations, and external initiatives related to healthcare and public health priorities.
  • Contribute to the preparation of policy materials, presentations, position papers, and other external communication deliverables.
  • Support the development of internal communication initiatives and create engaging content for employees.
  • Provide creative input for campaigns, messaging, and communication strategies.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of communication materials aligned with our company standards.
  • Support and coordinate projects and campaigns related to healthcare, innovation access, and public health.
  • Help organize and coordinate events, roundtables, meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Contribute to the implementation of initiatives that strengthen our company’s external presence and social impact.
  • Support grant and project-related activities, including documentation and coordination.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials and reports supporting policy and communication activities.
  • Collaborate across functions to ensure effective execution of projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

  • University degree in communications, public relations, political science, marketing, health sciences, social sciences, economics, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in communications, PR, public affairs, NGO work, marketing, or project-based roles.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to translate ideas into action.
  • Understanding of marketing and PR principles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Interest in healthcare, public policy, and social impact.

Preferred

  • Experience or familiarity with the healthcare system in Serbia.

Travels

  • Limited, based on business needs (events, stakeholder meetings, partnerships)
