Role Purpose

The EUCAN Market Access & Pricing Director is primarily responsible for developing and executing market access and pricing strategies across the EUCAN region to support the successful launch, adoption, and sustained reimbursement of our company`s vaccine and pharmaceutical portfolio. This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in market access, pricing, and reimbursement, as well as strong knowledge of the vaccines and pharmaceutical landscape. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative global and regional partner who can influence across markets, navigate complex local and regional environments, and drive value-based solutions that secure patient access.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of market access and pricing strategies for the EUCAN region.

  • Partner with local market access teams to align global and regional strategies with country needs.

  • Provide expert guidance on pricing, reimbursement, health technology assessment (HTA), and access pathways across diverse EUCAN markets.

  • Support launch excellence by shaping access plans for vaccines and pharmaceutical products from early development through commercialization.

  • Monitor market trends, policy changes, and payer dynamics to proactively identify risks and opportunities, and support EUCAN leadership in the forecasting process.

  • Contribute deep knowledge of vaccines and pharmaceuticals to inform strategy, evidence generation, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Drive collaboration across the region to share best practices, harmonize approaches where appropriate, and adapt to local market requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a strategic, forward thinking leader with:

  • Proven experience in market access, pricing, reimbursement, or related access functions.

  • Strong local and/or regional market expertise.

  • Deep understanding of vaccines and/or pharmaceutical markets, including access challenges and stakeholder expectations.

  • Ability to lead with informal authority, managing through ambiguity, and to communicate clearly in a matrixed environment

  • Excellent collaboration skills with a track record of successful partnership across regional and country teams.

  • Strong analytical, communication, entrepreneurial and problem solving capabilities.

  • Ability to translate complex access challenges into actionable strategies and business outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, public health, business, or related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in market access leadership roles within the pharmaceutical or vaccines industry.

  • Experience working across multiple markets with diverse reimbursement environments.
