A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ADC Shift Junior Laboratory Technician
As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing laboratory testing activities in a compliant, efficient, and timely manner. You will support the day-to-day operation of the laboratory, provide feedback to the Laboratory Leader on testing progress and issues, and contribute to a culture of teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement. The role may also include raw materials and API testing, participation in projects, lean initiatives, and quality investigations. The ADC Shift Junior Laboratory Technician will work primarily on a 24/7 shift cycle.
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:
- Complete laboratory testing in a compliant manner to meet customer and business targets as scheduled by Lab Leader.
- Support raw materials and API testing as resources allow.
- Ensure all activities comply with cGMP, safety, environmental, and relevant HR policies.
- Deliver timely and effective testing in line with site schedules and our Manufacturing Division's policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Provide regular feedback to the Laboratory Leader regarding issues, concerns, and operational challenges.
- Follow department High Performance Analytical Behaviours and Safe by Choice Principles.
- Participate in assigned improvement initiatives.
- Promote teamwork within the section.
- Implement and share best practices within the group.
- Support the resolution of quality issues and OOS investigations arising during testing.
What skills you will need:
In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
- Minimum BSc in Chemistry or equivalent related discipline, combined with relevant experience
- Advanced analytical skills including chromatography, titration, spectroscopy, wet chemistry
- Knowledge of laboratory quality systems
- Working knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Experience with electronic laboratory systems
- Strong understanding of safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Initiative and proactive problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Report writing
- Time management
- Continuous improvement mindset
