Job Description
The Content Enablement Product Manager is a global product manager role within the Commercial IT organization supporting Animal Health. This role will report to the Director, Digital Solutions and Content Enablement and will be responsible for shaping and executing the technology strategy that enables how commercial content is planned, created, reviewed, approved, localized, and activated across channels.
You will own and evolve a portfolio of content management and campaign enablement platforms (e.g., Veeva Promomats, Adobe Workfront and related solutions), as well as AI-enabled tools for content creation, modular content, and localization/translation. You will work closely with global and regional marketing, regulatory, and compliance stakeholders to ensure content is delivered efficiently, effectively, and in a compliant manner to support launch excellence and ongoing campaign execution.
This role is ideal for a self-starter and thought leader who is comfortable operating in a matrixed, global environment and is passionate about transforming the content supply chain through technology and data.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision:
Define and own the global product vision and roadmap for content management and related commercial content platforms (e.g., Veeva Promomats, Adobe Workfront) and AI-enabled content solutions
Develop and maintain a multi-year strategy for the content ecosystem across Animal Health, aligned to Commercial and IT strategic priorities
Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize the end-to-end content lifecycle, from campaign planning through content creation, promotional review, approval and localization to ensure successful omnichannel activation
Monitor industry trends, best practices, and innovations in content management, modular content, AI/ML, and campaign management to inform product direction
Stakeholder & Business Partnership:
Serve as the primary IT product partner to global and regional Commercial, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders for content-related capabilities
Translate business strategies and campaign objectives into clear product requirements, user stories, and success metrics
Facilitate effective prioritization and governance, balancing global standardization with regional/local needs
Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on how to leverage platforms and AI capabilities to improve campaign planning, content performance, and launch excellence
Product Delivery & Lifecycle Management:
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, including ideation, requirements definition, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement
Manage the backlog and release plans for content management and AI content solutions; ensure timely delivery of high-quality enhancements and features
Collaborate with IT delivery teams, architects, vendors, and integrators to design scalable, secure, and compliant solutions
Oversee change management, user training, and adoption activities to ensure solutions are effectively embedded into global and regional ways of working
Establish and track KPIs related to content quality, cycle times, review efficiency, reuse, and adherence to standards
Drive the evaluation and implementation of AI tools for content creation, modular content, translation, and localization, ensuring quality, brand consistency, and regulatory compliance
Campaign Planning & Launch Excellence:
Enable and optimize digital capabilities that support campaign planning, content briefing, orchestration, and performance tracking
Ensure content platforms integrate effectively with campaign management, CRM, and omnichannel engagement tools
Support launch excellence by ensuring content readiness, streamlined review cycles, and clear visibility of content status across markets and channels
Work with analytics teams to leverage content and campaign data to drive continuous improvement and inform future planning
Vendor & Financial Management:
Manage key vendor relationships (e.g., Veeva, Adobe and other platform providers) and ensure delivery against SLAs and roadmap commitments
Contribute to budget planning, forecasting, and cost optimization for content-related platforms and services
Evaluate and recommend build vs. buy decisions, and manage RFPs or vendor evaluations as needed
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5–10 years of experience in IT, with significant experience supporting or managing content management and/or campaign management solutions in a commercial context
Proven experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role responsible for enterprise platforms or solutions
Hands-on experience with commercial content management platforms (e.g., Veeva Promomats, Adobe Workfront or similar regulated content/approval systems)
Strong understanding of the end-to-end content lifecycle (planning, creation, review, approval, localization, and activation) and related workflows
Experience working in or closely with Commercial, Marketing, or Sales organizations, ideally in a regulated industry (e.g., animal health, pharma, life sciences, healthcare)
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives in a global, matrixed environment
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience defining and tracking product KPIs
Background in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) for backlog and release management
