About the Role

Join our HR Technology team as a Senior Specialist focused on supporting the HR Governance of our HR systems and solutions. You will work closely with others in HR Security and Information Management Operations, IT, and HR Operations to manage Data Audits, HR Data Requests, and enhancements and upgrades to current HR systems enabling HR Security capabilities. You will work closely with these groups to identify and recommend alternative solutions, leveraging existing HR tools and technologies. This role operates in a complex and matrixed environment and is expected to apply HR functional and technical expertise to drive performance. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished HR team member with project or operational team experience working globally.

What You Will Do

  • System Configuration: Execute heavy security configuration within the Workday and Visier applications including but not limited to configuration, testing and support.
  • HR Data Access Management: Manage access to HR Systems including provisioning access, tracking approvals, and auditing access according to the HR Data Security policies.
  • HR Data Quality: Serve as a subject matter expect on data quality. Work with HR Operations teams to ensure Workday business processes are completed in a manner that ensures the best possible data quality. Monitor data quality audits and implement changes to procedures to support continual improvement.
  • HR Data Security and Privacy: Serve as subject matter expert on HR data security and privacy processes. Support the HR Data Steward with required data privacy processes for HR system changes and work with the HR Privacy Steward and Privacy Office to ensure Global/Local Data Privacy and Works Council approvals are obtained, as required.
  • HR Data Subscription Process: Support HR Data Subscription Process to ensure HR data requests are approved and follow our HR data privacy and access policies.
  • Demand Management: Support, assess, and manage new business requests, recommending alternative technical solutions to improve HR/HRIS processes.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with HR Technology Process and Solutions leads, Global Centers of Excellence (COEs), Global Privacy Office, and Operations Teams.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Apply technical expertise to resolve complex business problems independently and collaboratively.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience/Education: Minimum 4 years of experience in HRIS, IT, or HR Operations with a Bachelor’s degree, OR minimum 6 years of experience with a High School diploma.
  • Workday Configuration: Minimum 2 years hands on experience in Workday configuration, preferred in Workday Security.
  • Requirements Engineering: Experience translating end-user business requirements into technical system functionality and vice versa.
  • Technology Testing: Minimum 2 years leading or executing technology User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-to-end system testing.
  • Compliance: Demonstrated understanding of and appreciation for data privacy concepts and principles (e.g., importance of securing data at rest and in transit, ensuring data is used in a way that is consistent with the intended purpose).
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work within a team and collaborate. Ability to be hands-on and entrenched in the details when necessary. Ability to seek direction when needed as well as work independently, be self-directed with limited and / or an evolving set of available information.
  • Project Leadership: Experience leading projects within deadline-driven, fast-paced environments.
  • Environment: Proven experience managing multiple high-priority projects in deadline-driven environments.
  • Projects: Experience leading cross-functional projects both as an individual contributor and team member.
  • Communication: Proven experience presenting system capabilities and technical solutions to stakeholders.
  • Analysis: Demonstrated experience utilizing analytical skills to resolve complex business problems.
  • Process Improvement: Proven experience in business process analysis and identifying HRIS improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Security Configuration: Minimum 2 years hands on experience in Workday Security
  • Visier Configuration: Demonstrated experience configuration Visier.
  • Cross-Functional Knowledge: Proven functional knowledge of Workday modules including HCM, GTA, Talent, Learning, Advanced Compensation, Integrations, Workday Extend
  • Reporting: Demonstrated knowledge of Workday report writing, including calculated fields.
  • AI Familiarity: Familiarity with AI-powered HR system tools.
  • Change Management: Experience acting as a change agent and leading others through organizational or system changes.
