We are looking for an energetic and curious Associate Technical Product Manager to join our Business Operations Technology team. In this role, you will be a key player in shaping the digital solutions that optimize how we plan and execute clinical trials. This role functions as a co-pilot to a Senior Technical Product Manager in Business Operations Technology Product Line, helping to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of the product roadmap. This is a unique opportunity to grow your product management career by working at the intersection of business and technology. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Business team members, learning to translate complex business needs into elegant, high-impact product solutions for our patients, partners, and end-users.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business problems and translate requirements into clear and actionable product backlog and well defined epics and user stories. Incorporate input from Business System Owner (BSO) and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
· Work with your product team to maintain and prioritize a backlog that aligns with our strategic goals, ensuring we are always focused on the most impactful work.
- Partner with squad members including technical lead(s) engineers, business owners and architectures to refine, scope, and deliver high-quality product features through Agile methodologies, automated testing and Digital SDLC.
- Actively participate in and contribute to all Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to foster a culture of continuous improvement and delivery.
- Take ownership by accepting user stories before they enter a sprint and serve as a key point of contact for the delivery team to resolve issues and manage dependencies.
- Provide an escalation point for delivery issues or deconflicting dependencies that affect multiple teams across products. Capture dependencies for execution and focus on reducing impact.
- Clearly and consistently communicate product progress, plans, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency across the organization.
Experience and Skills
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business)
· Approximately 2+ years of experience in a technology-focused role, with exposure to product management, business analysis, or software development, ideally within IT or a related business area.
- A passion for leveraging AI to enhance productivity and solve problems in your daily work.
· Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product management tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Very organized, comfortable producing roadmap artefacts and prioritization documentation.
- Possess the essence of a Product Mindset - discovery, creating delightful user experiences, and ensuring strong engineering execution.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an innate ability to build trust and rapport with diverse teams in a global environment.
- Self-motivated, curious, and collaborative; able to foster an inclusive team culture across a global organization.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in product strategy and roadmap development
- Ability to lead continuous discovery activities, like user research and usability testing, in partnership with UX/Design and BSO.
· Experience working in a regulated industry, such as pharmaceuticals, Clinical Operations or life sciences.
- Experience defining success metrics and continuously measuring and reporting progress against these metrics.
