ABOUT THE JOB

Moximed is seeking a Medical Education Program Coordinator to join our team! This dynamic role is at the center of surgeon and clinical education. You will be responsible for well-planned and executed, clinically-focused training events and programs. This role is a key member of the Therapy Development Team and will partner with Sales, Marketing, and Reimbursement to deliver exceptional surgeon educational experiences with the MISHA® Knee System.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Faculty Coordination:

  • Collaborates closely with Healthcare Provider (HCP) faculty and Patient Ambassadors to determine availability for meetings and events
  • Schedules and coordinates meetings and events with HCP faculty, advisory boards, and patients
  • Manages HCP faculty contracts and relationships to ensure scope of work, rate, and expiration are current and compliant
  • Manages Patient Ambassador contracts and relationships to ensure scope of work, rate, and expiration are current and compliant
  • Tracks and manages invoices and receipts with accounting
  • Tabulates and summarizes Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics

Educational Event Management

  • Oversees logistical operations for Surgeon Training events. Delivers best-in-class professional experiences while maintaining compliance and budget requirements. Negotiates and confirms contracts and availability of equipment/supplies.
    • Faculty scheduling: selects appropriate faculty for educational dinner and Bioskills components
    • Travel and logistics: coordinates for attendees, including internal employees, HCP faculty, trainee surgeons, and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), etc.
    • Event facilities: location identification, selection and contracting (lodging, transportation, lab, catering)
    • Bioskills event coordination: number of stations, instruments, cadaver or other specimens, A/V, shipments
    • Partners with customer service and operations to ensure all MISHA-specific instrumentation, devices, and marketing material are accurately ordered, shipped, and returned on time
    • Content management: distributes slide templates, collects and consolidates slide presentations, ensures consistency of appearance and smooth operation of presentations including animations/sound/etc.
    • Faculty and employee responsibilities assignment: pre-, day of, and post-event management including coordination of presentations, setting of expectations/timing, sign-in sheets, training documentation, and follow up
    • Provides on-site support as needed
    • Status communication: sales leaders/sales team have near real time visibility into status of registration, qualifications, and follow-up
    • Records and submits documentation and training records
    • Expense management for events, trainee attendees, and faculty (as needed)
    • Monitors and implements feedback (as needed)

Coordinates Peer to Peer (e.g., surgeon-to-surgeon, APP-to-APP, etc.) meetings between faculty and interested HCPs

  • Manages and records intake form data from MISHA sales team
  • Matches HCP faculty to requesting surgeon and coordinates Zoom calls
  • Prepares faculty for standard and customized content
  • Records and submits documentation and training records
  • Develops KPIs to track performance
  • Monitors and implements feedback (as needed)

Internal Employee Clinical Education

  • Coordinates logistics for new sales/clinical specialist hire training cohorts
    • Communicates curricula and schedules for virtual and in-person training sessions
    • Organizes all logistics for virtual and in-office based training (transportation, lodging, catering, executive/corporate meetings/interactions, Bioskills lab scheduling and set-up, internal and external faculty schedules, web meetings)
    • Prepares materials and collateral
    • Ensures reservation and set-up of conference rooms and lab space
    • May tabulate attendance, progress reports, and surveys
    • Provides on-site support

Bioskills (Cadaver) Lab Management (at corporate office)

  • Implements general lab oversight under supervisor’s direction
    • Ensure adequate supplies and cadaver or other specimens, e.g. work with customer service and vendors to maintain adequate stock
    • Work cross-functionally with facilities, operations, R&D, customer service to maintain clean and professional lab environment suitable for hosting visiting HCPs
    • Communicate lab safety, cleaning, and operating policies and update SOPs as necessary
    • Compliant with radiation safety, biohazard, and bloodborne pathogen SOPs and work standards

Surgical Case Observation

  • Ensures faculty preparation (slides, case histories)
  • Coordinates visiting surgeon access with host facility (e.g., credentialing)
  • Travel logistics (lodging, transportation, catering)

Additional Educational and Advisory Meetings

  • Manages registrations, sites, catering, lodging, transportation, A/V, and consultants in a compliant and cost-efficient fashion
  • Supports presentation preparation and final slide materials, including consolidation of multiple slide decks, while ensuring professional production value
  • Provides on-site support as needed

Facilitates continuing education/advanced education initiatives

  • Organizes and schedules guest speakers/webinars
  • Distributes and tracks usage of advanced training materials

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience supporting commercial medical-device events / organizations
  • Displays competence with standard business tools and practices (Microsoft Office suite)
  • Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) is a plus
  • Appropriate business etiquette in customer-facing situations
  • Unquestionable character and ethics
