Job Title: Gene Therapy Intern

Location: South San Francisco

Reports to: David Kim, Gene Therapy Scientist

Duration: 2 Months or 3 Months (Internship begins June 10th)

What you will learn

First month learnings include:

Various assays used by the Gene Therapy team, including but not limited to, ELISA, MSD, protein extraction, Western blot, luciferase assay, and plate-based toxicity assays.

Second month learnings include:

Using the learned skills, the intern will have his or her own projects that will progress the goals of SonoThera. Some examples may be:

• Assay and analyze samples from various studies.
• Develop and optimize antibodies for detection of a target of interest.
• Research various assays and techniques that can be added to the analytical capabilities at SonoThera.
• Characterize various disease models of interest.

Qualifications

Actively pursuing a science related degree.
