The Role:

ElevateBio’s Supply Chain Planning & Scheduling team is currently seeking a self-motivated intern with strong analytical and interpersonal skills who will be an integral member of the Supply Chain team and work closely with cross functional teams on diverse projects. We will attempt to provide the most expansive experiences as possible for the intern with assignments that provide opportunity to learn the supply chain and planning/scheduling process. Your responsibilities as a Supply Chain Intern may include but are not limited to:

Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Manages and updates production schedules (create and release process orders) in SAP
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Warehouse to ensure material needs are met
  • Monitor and manages material expiration and obsolescence
  • Build tools and reporting to enable visibility of key planning and scheduling data sets
  • Define and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for driving continuous improvements and action plans to achieve performance targets
  • Lead and support cross functional continuous improvement projects
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning function to provide site level support for inbound raw material receipt, intra-site raw material transfer, and safety stock inventory planning and reporting
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations and Quality Control teams to provide site support for material inventory control and flows
  • Materials Management subject matter expert with respect for inventory best practices and ERP system requirements/integrations
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA Candidates will not be considered)
  • GPA is at least a 3.2
  • Ability to work autonomously and cross functionally on multiple initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Communicative, a team player, resilient and enjoys challenges.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office

The budgeted range for this position is $25.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected hourly range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
