Summary:

We are looking for an Analytical Scientist to join our R&D team and support the development of innovative drug delivery systems. In this role, you will contribute to R&D sample testing, data analysis, notebook documentation, report drafting, method troubleshooting and stability studies. This role requires experiences in advanced analytical techniques such as HPLC and UPLC, strong quality control lab skills, and a collaborative approach to achieving scientific and organizational goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Execute the protocols and perform the R&D sample testing following the requirements in the protocols.
  • Analyze test data, document in the lab notebook and draft the reports.
  • Conduct stability studies for development and GMP batches, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting shelf-life determinations.
  • Compliance with company good documentation practices.
  • Coordinate with and manage multiple CRO resources to achieve analytical objectives.
  • Perform routine instrument maintenance and calibration as needed.
  • Follow the company and lab safety policies and maintain the lab area hygiene.
  • Support the troubleshoot of analytical challenges, support the investigation of out-of-specification results, and implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and scientific excellence within the team.

Qualifications Required For Position:

  • MS or PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field with 1-2 years of relevant industry experience, or BS with 3-5 years of experience in analytical development.
  • Proficiency in chromatographic techniques (e.g., HPLC) and spectroscopy (e.g., UV-Vis, FTIR).
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Empower, ChemStation).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Detail-oriented and be able to handle small samples.
